Our Program Today
This week's program was presented by the first grade class at Southside Elementary School. Special thanks to Mrs. Hall and Mrs. McCamy for arranging for the children to come. Dr. Towles was kind enough to bring McDonald's Happy Meals for the class-the food obviously inpsired them as their performance was delightful! It was so refreshing to watch them present "Twas the Night Before Christmas." The children were either sleeping kids or reindeer and they pranced around the dining room. Santa was Dr. Jen's son Harrison! They gave us a great rendition of the story and then sang Christmas carols: Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Silent Night and We Wish You a Merry Christmas! What a delightful show. Many thanks! Fernandina Beach Rotary wishes you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2009!!
